Being a regular user of Coinswitch Kuber, I noticed that the app took longer to open compared to its competitors and had a poor and boring splash screen animation. To address this issue, I did competitor research on the average opening time of the competitor apps and compared it with Coinswitch Kuber. I found that Coinswitch Kuber had an average opening time of 8.14 seconds, while its competitors Coin DCX and WazirX had significantly shorter times of 3.41 and 1.78 seconds, respectively.

To improve the user experience, I designed and animated a new three-dimensional splash screen animation that incorporates the existing brand colours of Coinswitch and runs exactly the timespan the app takes to open so that it engages the user's attention during the app's loading time and the user perceives a less waiting time. This approach was taken to solve this particular problem as it would incur a much higher development cost to decrease the opening time by optimizing the app rather an engaging splash screen animation can solve it with much delight and in an engaging way.
